Problem
Businesses issuing invoices from POS and accounting systems have to report them to BIR's Electronic Invoicing System in a specific JSON format. Each source system stores invoices differently, and an acknowledgment from BIR is not the same as final acceptance. Without a central record it is hard to tell which invoices were sent, accepted or rejected.
Approach
Each source connects by signed webhook, scheduled database query, or an approved connector script. Received data is kept as evidence before it is mapped. Field mappings are versioned and tested against a sample before publishing. Invoices are released manually or automatically into submissions, and a local simulator stands in for the BIR endpoint so the full flow can be tested safely. Laravel and React over PostgreSQL.
Outcome
The system covers the path from receipt to verification with an audit trail at each step. Design decisions are recorded as architecture decision records, and the workflow is covered by feature and browser tests. It runs against the simulator; official transmission is not yet enabled.
Let's build something useful
